Dedication

In Life, there are those who taught us how to walk.

And there are others,

appearing in such brief moments,

fashioning us with wings,

and teach us how to…

Fly.

Without showing an effort

they lead us to a vista so vast and wide;

igniting a fuel tank we never thought we had;

daring us to defy limits we'd ever set for ourselves.

I would like to extend my most sincere dedication

to the following individuals.

You came, and shaped the person into which I am evolving into and aspiring towards.

I wish your benefaction

could one day be humbly reciprocated.

Winnie Kong, my childhood friend of 40 years,

Orlando & Mary Lo, Aimee Sheriff, Elnora Fleming, Ann & John Hindle,

Rudolf Hau, Aunt Ong (Geem), Uncle Aaron, Aunt Betty, Jennifer Garib, Aidan Mok, Catherine Lo

Sebastian Smith, Atiqur Khan, Ron Jenkins,

Dr. Valerie Kubazky,

Stella and Clement Lam,

Anna and ChangJie Wu,

Eva and Paul Ngan.

I have come to believe that the defining moments of most lives are not acts of courage or greatness.

Rather, they are the simplest acts:

expressions of virtue that are tossed carelessly like seeds from a farmer’s hand,

leaving their fruits to be revealed at a future date.
